Akriti Chopra, co-founder and Chief People Officer of Zomato, has resigned from her position effective September 27, 2024, after a 13-year tenure at the company.

In an email to CEO Deepinder Goyal, she expressed gratitude for her enriching journey with the company, stating she was stepping down to explore other interests. Chopra initially joined Zomato in 2011 as a senior manager in finance and operations and later held roles such as Chief Financial Officer and Chief People Officer. Her resignation marks the latest in a series of top-level exits at Zomato in recent years.
