Naxals Kill Village Youth Over Alleged Police Informant Charges
A village youth was brutally murdered by Naxals last night on charges of being a police informant.
According to the police, the incident occurred in the Bhairamgarh block, where 25-year-old Kumamesh Kunjam, son of the late Lachhu Kunjam, was strangled to death by Naxalites.
After the murder, the body was dumped on the Chihka-Tindodi Jodan road by the assailants.
A pamphlet was left at the crime scene, purportedly issued by the Bhairamgarh Area Committee, accusing the young man of being a police informant and justifying his killing.
The Bhairamgarh police have taken possession of the body and are conducting legal procedures to investigate the case.
