He had been admitted to Fortis Hospital in Mohali on September 25 for a routine check-up. Doctors confirmed that his blood tests returned positive for the infection, but his vital signs are currently stable, and he is receiving appropriate antibiotics.Dr. R.K. Jaswal, the Director of Cardiology at Fortis Hospital, reported that Mann is responding well to treatment and has shown significant improvement in his clinical parameters. The health bulletin indicated that all clinical features and pathology tests have demonstrated satisfactory progress.Leptospirosis is typically contracted through direct contact with contaminated water or soil, often associated with the urine of infected animals. Symptoms can range from mild flu-like signs to severe complications affecting the liver and kidneys.As Mann continues to recover, further cardiac evaluations are being conducted to monitor his condition closely.
