FIR Filed Against Two Teachers for Molesting Female Students, Both Suspended by Department
In a troubling incident from Surajpur district, Chhattisgarh, a school teacher has been accused of **sexual harassment and inappropriate behavior** towards 19 female students.
The allegations surfaced after the students reported that the teacher made lewd comments and engaged in inappropriate touching under the guise of teaching. Following an investigation, all complaints against the teacher were found to be valid, and he is currently on the run as police teams conduct operations to apprehend him.
Additional Superintendent of Police Santosh Mahato confirmed that efforts are ongoing to locate the accused. The situation escalated when it was revealed that a female teacher at the same institution was aware of the misconduct but failed to report it or take action against the perpetrator.
In light of these developments, both the male teacher and the female teacher who concealed his actions will face disciplinary measures. The police are now collecting statements from the affected students to proceed with further legal actions. This incident highlights a broader concern regarding student safety in educational institutions, especially in light of previous reports of misconduct by educators in the region.
The education department has responded by suspending both teachers involved and has initiated a formal inquiry into the matter. Parents and community members have expressed outrage, demanding accountability and stricter measures to protect students from such abuses in the future.
