MP Pappu Yadav, an independent representative from Purnia, Bihar, has reportedly received death threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, with members warning him to "rest in peace." The threat, delivered via a WhatsApp call, has sparked concern within Bihar Police, leading Yadav to file a complaint with Bihar's DGP and inform the IG of Purnia Range.

Yadav shared his distress over the threats, stating, "I am pained by the repeated threats. There could be an incident anytime. The government must take my security seriously." According to sources, the caller, identifying as "Ajju Lawrence," warned Yadav to cease commenting on Lawrence Bishnoi's gang or risk dire consequences. Yadav also received threats on social media from associates of Aman Gang, who similarly cautioned him to "stay in his place."

Following his critical statements about gang violence, particularly related to the murder of former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddiqui, Yadav has become a target for the Bishnoi gang. He had previously challenged Lawrence Bishnoi, claiming he could dismantle the gang's network if permitted by law.
