A poignant video has emerged of former BJP MLA Shashiranjan Parmar weeping after his ticket was cut. The video shows Parmar, who had previously contested from the Tosham Assembly seat in Haryana, breaking down emotionally. The BJP has replaced him with Shruti Chaudhary, daughter of Kiran Chaudhary, as their candidate for the upcoming elections.

Political activity has intensified in Haryana as the state gears up for the Assembly elections on October 5. The BJP has announced its list of candidates, which includes several new faces and excludes many veteran leaders. Parmar, who had hoped to contest from Tosham again, was notably upset upon learning of the party's decision. 

The video, now circulating widely on social media, captures Parmar sobbing as he discusses his feelings about the ticket cancellation. In his emotional address, he also expresses concern about how he will encourage his supporters going forward.

In the 2019 Assembly elections, Parmar had faced Kiran Chaudhary, who secured 72,699 votes against his 54,640 votes. Chaudhary has since joined the BJP and was appointed to the Rajya Sabha. The party has now fielded her daughter, Shruti Chaudhary, as their candidate. It remains to be seen who the Congress will nominate for the seat this time.
