An FIR has been registered against Aditya Vikram Singh, nephew of former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Digvijaya Singh, after a video surfaced showing him engaging in unruly behavior with police officers and college staff. The incident, which occurred in Raghogarh, involved Aditya allegedly trying to disrupt a street play organized under the police’s "Main Hoon Abhimanyu" awareness campaign.

According to reports, Aditya attempted to halt the program and got into a physical altercation with the police station in-charge (TI), Zuber Khan. In the video that has gone viral, Aditya can be seen smoking a cigarette and blowing smoke in the face of a female police officer, SDOP Deepa Dodwe, while arguing with officers.

The Full Story: On Friday, the Raghogarh police were conducting a street play with about 25 students from JP College as part of the “Main Hoon Abhimanyu” campaign aimed at spreading awareness about women’s safety. Present at the event were police officers, college staff, and students, when Aditya Vikram Singh, son of former MP Lakshman Singh, arrived with his driver, Udham Singh Rajput, and objected to the event.

Aditya engaged in a heated argument with Sub-Inspector Ravi Bhilala, demanding that the event be stopped. When TI Zuber Khan intervened and tried to calm him down, Aditya allegedly began pushing the officer. During the altercation, Aditya is reported to have told the police, “No program will happen here. Everyone must leave.” His driver added, "This entire Raghogarh belongs to him."

In the viral video, Aditya is seen smoking in front of SDOP Deepa Dodwe and TI Zuber Khan, arguing with them. Aditya can be heard saying, “You think you’re above the Supreme Court?” while his driver refers to him as a prominent figure. Zuber Khan is seen responding respectfully, asking Aditya to leave the scene.

What the Video Shows: The video also captures Aditya’s driver urging the police to halt the program. SDOP Dodwe is heard stating, “I am not doing anything wrong.” As Aditya continues to insist that the students disperse, Dodwe tells him not to speak in such a manner, asserting her authority. Throughout the video, Aditya continues to smoke and casually addresses others present.

At one point, Aditya can be seen addressing someone, saying, “How are you, brother? See the arrogance of the police. Don’t flaunt your uniform.” He later threatens the police officers, saying, “The situation is heating up.”

Legal Action: Following the incident, the police registered a case against Aditya Vikram Singh and his driver under various sections, including obstructing police work and using abusive language. Aditya allegedly misbehaved with students and police officers alike, and when SDOP Deepa Dodwe confronted him, he argued with her as well.

The video also shows Aditya misbehaving with JP College Registrar Sanjay Mishra, blowing cigarette smoke in his face. Aditya and his driver are now facing charges under sections 132, 121(1), and 3(5) of the BNS Act.

Political Reactions: The viral video has sparked political controversy, with BJP leaders taking jabs at Congress. BJP media in-charge Ashish Aggarwal commented on ‘X,’ sharing the video and accusing Aditya of displaying arrogance towards female officers. He criticized the behavior of Congress leaders’ children, highlighting their “attitude, behavior, and character.”

“This is Aditya Vikram Singh, nephew of former CM Digvijaya Singh and son of senior leader Lakshman Singh, who previously served as municipal president. His disrespectful language and conduct towards female officers reflect the criminal and anti-women nature of Congress leaders,” Aggarwal wrote.

He added, “Imagine, if these Congress leaders are indulging in such disgraceful behavior while in opposition, what would they do in power? Fortunately, the people of Madhya Pradesh are wise and know them well. FIRs have already been filed against Aditya. Whether it’s the son of a politician or a celebrity, no one will escape justice in the BJP's ‘Mohan Sarkar.’”
