Waqf Bill Joint Parliamentary Committee meet adjourned, know more


Delhi: Following the demise of former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh, the Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) on the Waqf Bill paid tribute to the late leader.
BJP MP and JPC chairman Jagdambika Pal shared details of the committee's response, stating, "We paid tribute to him, and the Joint Parliamentary Committee on the Waqf Bill observed a period of mourning. Subsequently, we adjourned the meeting in his honour."
Dr. Manmohan Singh, who served as India’s Prime Minister from 2004 to 2014, passed away at the age of 92, leaving a profound impact on the nation's political and economic landscape.
