Minor girl delivers baby, police arrests her partner for crime

A shocking incident has emerged from Korba district, Chhattisgarh, where an 11th-grade girl gave birth in a girls' hostel. The girl, a minor, reportedly delivered the baby late at night and subsequently threw the newborn out of a bathroom window.
Following this incident, authorities have taken swift action, arresting the girl's alleged partner, Ram Kumar Kamro, in Telangana.
He is accused of repeatedly sexually assaulting the girl under the pretense of marriage promises. The case has triggered a significant response from the education department, leading to the suspension of the hostel superintendent, Jai Kumari Ratre.
The incident came to light when the hostel management was alerted about the girl's condition after she gave birth. Upon inquiry, she denied having any child, prompting officials to contact her parents, who claimed they were unaware of their daughter's pregnancy.
The newborn is currently receiving treatment at a district medical college, while investigations into the matter are ongoing. Senior officials from the education department have visited the hostel to gather information and ensure accountability.
The situation has raised serious concerns regarding student safety and oversight within educational institutions in the region.
