Chhattisgarh Chamber of Commerce Submits Key Trade and Industry Proposals to BJP Leaders

Raipur | The Chhattisgarh Chamber of Commerce and Industries (CCCI) delegation, led by State President Amar Parwani, General Secretary Ajay Bhasin, Treasurer Uttamchand Golcha, Executive President Rajendra Jaggi, Vikram Singhdev, Ram Mandhan, and Manmohan Agrawal, met with key BJP leaders to submit crucial suggestions related to the growth and development of trade and industry in the state.

During the meeting, the Chamber delegation handed over a memorandum to: Agriculture Minister Ramvichar Netam BJP Manifesto Committee Convener Amar Agrawal Raipur North MLA Purandar Mishra BJP State Vice President Bhupendra Savanni BJP Media In-Charge Amit Chimanani Mayoral Candidate Meenal Chaubey.

Key Proposals Presented by the Chamber

Amar Parwani emphasized that the Chamber, along with various trade organizations and units, has put forth important suggestions to support businesses and industries in the state. The key recommendations include:

Revitalization of traditional markets and their redevelopment.

Establishment of wholesale corridors across all districts of Chhattisgarh, with accelerated construction of the proposed Wholesale Corridor in Raipur.

Development of new retail markets to support small businesses.

Implementation of "One State, One License" policy to simplify business regulations.

Rationalization of user charges to reduce financial burdens on businesses.

Provision of subsidized land for the Chamber's state office.

Establishment of transport hubs in all districts to enhance logistics and supply chains.

Optimal utilization of government land to boost trade and industry growth.

Response from BJP Leaders

BJP Manifesto Committee Convener Amar Agrawal appreciated the Chamber’s suggestions and assured their implementation.

"The Chamber's proposals are well-thought-out and crucial for the economic growth of Chhattisgarh. We will ensure the construction of the Wholesale Corridor and will discuss the new Chamber building with the Chief Minister," he stated.

Agriculture Minister Ramvichar Netam praised the Chamber for consistently providing positive and constructive inputs. "The Chamber has always worked in collaboration with the government to support industry and trade. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai has a grand vision for a developed Chhattisgarh, and we will work together with the business community to achieve this dream," he said.

The meeting concluded with assurances from BJP leaders to consider the Chamber’s recommendations sympathetically and take necessary actions to facilitate the ease of doing business in Chhattisgarh. The event was conducted under the supervision of Chhattisgarh Chamber of Commerce General Secretary Ajay Bhasin.
