Two Indian Air Force pilots were killed in action when their Pilatus trainer aircraft crashed at 8:55 during training at Air Force Academy, Dindigul in Telangana. The pilots include an instructor and one cadet, as per Indian Air Force officials. The trainer aircraft crashed in Ravelli village in Toopran of Medak district.
It was a Pilatus PC 7 Mk II aircraft that met with an accident today morning during a routine training sortie from AFA, Hyderabad.
The two pilots onboard the aircraft sustained fatal injuries. IAF stated that no damage to any civil life or property has been reported thus far.
