Train Services to Be Affected Due to Infrastructure Work on Ranchi-Tori Section

Bilaspur: South Eastern Railway's Ranchi Division has announced a power block on the Ranchi-Tori section to carry out infrastructure-related work.

As a result, several trains running via or originating from South East Central Railway will be impacted during this period. The affected services include cancellations and route diversions over the span of January 19 to February 2, 2025.

Cancelled Trains:

Bilaspur-Tatanagar Express (Train No. 18114): Cancelled from January 19 to February 1, 2025.

Tatanagar-Bilaspur Express (Train No. 18113): Cancelled from January 20 to February 2, 2025.

Trains to Run on Diverted Routes:

Malda Town-Surat Express (Train No. 13525): Departing on January 25, 2025, this train will be diverted via the Kotshila-Muri-Chandil-Sini-Rourkela route to reach Surat.

Raxaul-Secunderabad Express (Train No. 07052): Departing on January 21 and January 28, 2025, this train will follow the Kotshila-Muri-Chandil-Sini-Rourkela route to reach Secunderabad.

The power block is scheduled to facilitate essential infrastructure enhancements on the Ranchi-Tori section under the Ranchi Division. These works are part of ongoing efforts to improve the railway network and ensure better connectivity and safety for passengers.

The changes will affect four key train services for over a week. Passengers are advised to plan their travel accordingly and check for updates before embarking on their journeys.

For alternative travel options, railway authorities have recommended using nearby routes or rescheduling travel dates. Railway officials have assured that the infrastructure work is critical for long-term improvements and have requested passengers’ cooperation during this period.
