Police flag march ahead of voting for Raipur South Assembly seat

In light of the Raipur South Assembly by-elections and with the enforcement of the Model Code of Conduct on November 12, 2024, a flag march was conducted today under the guidance of Senior Superintendent of Police, Dr. Santosh Kumar Singh. Additional City Superintendent Lakhan Patle, ADM Devendra Patel, Additional Superintendent of Police (West) D.R. Porte, and Additional Superintendent of Police (Traffic/Protocol) Anurag Jha, along with all city police officers, sub-police officers, station in-charges, administrative staff, and hundreds of Raipur Police officials participated in the march.

The route started from the Police Line, covering locations such as Mahila Thana, Banjari Chowk, Shastri Chowk, Jaystambh Chowk, Malviya Road Kotwali Chowk, Sadhani Chowk, Satti Bazaar, Azad Chowk, Amapara T-junction, Sarathi Chowk, Lakhe Nagar Chowk, Ashwani Nagar, Sundar Nagar, Kushalpur, and the Danteshwari Temple. The flag march then took a left turn at Lakhe Nagar Chowk, passing through Tillu Chowk, Lohar Chowk, Lili Chowk, Old Basti, Budheshwar Chowk, Kailaspuri, Bajrang Chowk, Sheetla Temple Chowk, RDA Building Tikrapara, Siddharth Chowk, Kalibadi, Mahila Thana, OCM, Nandi Chowk, Hardev Lala Temple Chowk, Kabir Chowk, PWD Chowk, Netaji Chowk, Katora Talab Sant Kanwar Chowk, Budhimai Temple, Govardhan Chowk, Kanal Road, Shyam Nagar Chowk, and concluded back at Police Line R.I. Gate.
