Chhattisgarh State Foundation Day: Grand Celebration of Rajyotsav in Naya Raipur from November 4 to 6

Renowned Artists to Perform Cultural Shows, Government Departments to Host Development Exhibitions

Raipur, November 3, 2024 – Preparations are complete for Chhattisgarh Rajyotsav 2024, a three-day event celebrating the state’s foundation day from November 4 to 6 at Naya Raipur Atal Nagar. The inauguration, set for 6 PM on November 4, will be led by Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, with Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai presiding over the ceremony. Speaker of the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly, Dr. Raman Singh, will attend as a distinguished guest.

The event will feature captivating cultural performances by renowned artists, starting at 4:30 PM on November 4. Highlights include traditional folk dance glimpses by Shri Rikhy Kshatriya’s team, an Adi Vrindam performance by Shri Mohan Chauhan and team, regional music and dance by Shri Sunil Soni's group, and a rendition of the Nama Ramayan by Shri Vidya Varchaswi. Malkhamb by India’s Got Talent performers will follow at 7:45 PM, and the evening will close with a special performance by Bollywood playback singer Shantanu Mukherjee (Shan) at 8:15 PM.

Throughout Rajyotsav, all departments of the Chhattisgarh government will display grand and engaging exhibitions at the venue. A "Craft Village" will showcase and sell Chhattisgarh’s diverse handicrafts. The venue will also include spacious hangars where government departments, commercial organizations, and public sector institutions will exhibit their products. Popular attractions include the Craft Village, a food court, and Meena Bazaar.

Dr. Mohan Yadav will arrive at Swami Vivekananda Mana Airport at 3:40 PM on November 4, proceed to the Rajyotsav venue by 6 PM, and depart back to Bhopal at 7:50 PM after attending the inaugural event.
