New Delhi – As India gears up for the Budget Session 2025-26, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has offered key insights into the government’s priorities, signaling a historic and reform-driven budget.
Speaking ahead of the budget presentation on February 1, 2025, PM Modi emphasized economic growth, women empowerment, and India’s vision for 2047, when the country will celebrate 100 years of independence.

The PM compared India's current journey to the freedom movement, highlighting that the youth who participated in India’s struggle for independence between 1930 and 1942 saw the fruits of their efforts after 25 years. "This period of 25 years will shape a prosperous and developed India, where we move from determination to success and from success to global leadership," he added.
