Fatal Road Accident Claims Three Lives in Jharkhand’s Seraikela-Kharsawan District

In a tragic accident near Kala Pathar village in Jharkhand’s Seraikela-Kharsawan district, a head-on collision between a trailer and a 407 vehicle late Sunday night resulted in three fatalities.

The trailer driver was burned alive following the collision, while the driver and conductor of the 407 vehicle also lost their lives. Two additional passengers sustained severe injuries and were admitted to the hospital, where they remain in critical condition. None of the deceased have yet been identified.

The collision reportedly occurred at high speed, causing the trailer to catch fire instantly. The impact was so intense that both vehicles were severely damaged, sparking chaos at the accident site.

Local residents rushed to assist as soon as they heard the commotion. Police and fire department teams arrived promptly, managing to control the blaze after considerable effort. Authorities have begun investigating the incident and are working to identify the deceased to inform their families. The accident led to a significant traffic jam on both sides of the road.

The injured have been identified as Chhotu Oraon from Palamu and Satyendra Oraon from Chatra. Following the accident, police secured the scene, seized the vehicles, and used gas cutters to retrieve the bodies from the wreckage.
