Yogi Adityanath Cabinet Meeting at Mahakumbh: CM, Ministers to Take Sacred Dip After Approving Major Decisions

Yogi Adityanath

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is set to preside over a crucial Cabinet meeting at the Mahakumbh today. This meeting will be held with all 54 Cabinet ministers in attendance and will be followed by a ceremonial dip in the holy Sangam.

The meeting, scheduled to begin at 12 PM, will take place at the Triveni Complex in Aral, instead of the initially planned venue at the Mela Authority’s auditorium.

The decision to change the location was made to prevent any inconvenience to the pilgrims, as holding the meeting at the Mela Authority auditorium could have disrupted VIP security and the movement of devotees.

During the meeting, several key projects and proposals aimed at benefiting the state will be approved. After the Cabinet meeting, the entire team of ministers, including CM Yogi Adityanath, Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya, and several other key ministers, will travel by motorboat from Aral VIP Ghat to the Sangam for a ceremonial dip.

This is not the first time that CM Yogi has taken a holy dip at the Sangam with his ministers, as he did the same during the 2019 Kumbh Mela.

The Cabinet meeting will see discussions on significant initiatives such as the Uttar Pradesh Aerospace and Defence Unit and Employment Promotion Policy for 2024, as well as major infrastructure and industrial development projects.

Notable among the decisions to be made are approvals related to industrial incentives, residential projects, and medical education institutions across the state.

Key Decisions Likely to Be Approved:

Aerospace and Defence Unit and Employment Promotion Policy 2024.

Approval for land subsidy payments to Ashok Leyland under the Industrial Development Department.

Policy provisions for mega-scale industries under the Uttar Pradesh Industrial Investment and Employment Promotion Policy 2022.

Distribution of free smartphones under the Swami Vivekananda Youth Empowerment Scheme.

Land acquisition for new housing projects in Agra by the Agra Development Authority.

Establishment of a Directorate of Prosecution under the Indian Civil Defence Code 2023.

Transfer of a 166-bed government hospital in Balrampur for setting up a state medical college.

Selection of bidders for operating medical colleges in underserved districts like Hathras, Baghpat, and Kasganj.

Issuance of Municipal Bonds for development in Prayagraj, Varanasi, and Agra.

Upgradation of 62 government industrial training institutes in collaboration with Tata Technologies Ltd.

The meeting, followed by the sacred dip at the Sangam, will mark an important moment for the state, as it will bring together top political leaders and ministers to reaffirm their commitment to Uttar Pradesh's development.
