Masked Robbers Strike in Burhanpur: Loot Businessman’s Home, Steal Motorcycles from Colony
MP Crime News: A gang of over a dozen masked robbers unleashed terror in Vrindavan Colony, Nepanagar, Burhanpur, late Saturday night. The group reportedly stormed the residence of Raunak Jain, a local cement trader and owner of Arihant Traders, assaulting him and his wife before fleeing with valuables. The incident has left the area in a state of shock and fear.
Armed Attack and Loot
The robbers entered Jain’s home, wielding weapons, and forcibly snatched gold jewelry from him and his wife. Following the home invasion, the masked criminals expanded their crime spree, stealing motorcycles from six other houses in the colony. CCTV cameras captured the entire incident, providing the police with critical evidence for their investigation.
Police Investigation and Response
Upon receiving the report, Nepanagar police arrived at the scene with a dog squad to assist in their investigation. Preliminary information suggests the robbers first subdued the colony’s guard before breaking into Jain’s home to execute the heist. Jain, who was injured during the attack, was rushed to Nepa Limited Hospital for medical treatment.
