IED Blast Injures CRPF Personnel in Bijapur, Chhattisgarh
Bijapur, January 11, 2025 : An IED blast orchestrated by Maoists injured a CRPF personnel during an area domination operation in the forests of Bijapur district, Chhattisgarh.
On the morning of January 11, 2025, a team from CRPF's 196th Battalion set out from Mahadev Ghat for area domination in the region.
During the operation, a pressure-activated IED planted by Maoists exploded, injuring Head Constable Rakesh Kulur of the CRPF.
The injured soldier was promptly evacuated and admitted to the District Hospital in Bijapur for medical treatment.
Authorities are investigating the incident, and security has been heightened in the area to prevent further such occurrences.
