Accident

Pune: In a shocking incident, a gas cylinder filled with gas was discovered on a railway track in the Uruli Kanchan area of Pune district, Maharashtra.

Authorities believe this was part of a planned conspiracy to cause a major accident. Railway police officials arrived at the scene shortly after receiving the information and have launched an investigation into the matter.

According to reports, the gas cylinder was found by Sharad Shahji Walke, a locomotive pilot, who filed a complaint regarding the discovery.

Walke, who was conducting a routine inspection of the railway tracks in his area on the night of Sunday, December 29, found the cylinder on the track leading to Pune.

The gas cylinder was marked with the name of the Priya Gold company. Walke immediately informed the police and senior railway officials about the discovery.

The Uruli Kanchan police have registered a case under sections 150 and 152 for attempting to cause an accident by an unknown person.

Thanks to Walke’s timely inspection, a major disaster was averted. Had the cylinder gone unnoticed, it could have led to a serious accident on the railway track. Police are continuing their investigation into the incident.
