Janata Dal (United) to hold its National Executive meeting in Delhi today. Ahead of the meeting, JDU leader Neeraj Kumar says, "...We can definitely say that the 2024 election results have made it clear in the country's politics that the politics revolves around Nitish Kumar ji...".

On reports that party leader Sanjay Jha can be made JDU national executive president, Vijay Kumar Choudhary says, "...I have also heard about it but we should wait for the final decision...".

Ahead of the National Executive meeting of the Janata Dal (United) on 29th June, party leaders attended a meeting at the residence of Bihar CM and JD(U) president Nitish Kumar, in Delhi, earlier today.

JD(U) leader KC Tyagi says, "...The 2025 election will be fought under the leadership of Nitish Kumar. Not only the Prime Minister announced it, but both the state party presidents of the BJP and the Leader of the House have publicly announced it. Nitish Kumar is the leader of the NDA and the next elections will be fought under his leadership..."

The meeting is crucial in that Modi 3.0 is quite dependent on support from Nitish Kumar's JD(U) and thus party affairs would be closely watched. The meeting also assumes significance in that Bihar state election is expected in another year's time.
