According to the FIR, the threat came to light when passenger Himanshu Khanna alerted airline staff about a note found in the lavatory of flight 6E-5101. The note contained the warning, "Bomb Beware," sparking immediate concern.
The flight, which had taken off from Goa’s Manohar International Airport at 9:39 PM, was approximately 20 minutes into its journey when the matter was reported to the pilot.
Emergency Measures Taken
Following standard protocol, the pilot informed air traffic control, and the aircraft was redirected to an isolated bay for safety. Security personnel, including the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) and the airline's security team, conducted a thorough search of the plane.
Despite the alarming threat, no explosives or suspicious items were found on board.
