IED Blast in Narayanpur: Two BSF Jawans Injured in Maoist Attack

Narayanpur: In a tragic incident, an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) blast targeted a road-opening party of the Border Security Force (BSF) in the Maoist-affected Narayanpur district of Chhattisgarh.

The blast left two BSF personnel injured. The attack has been confirmed by Narayanpur Superintendent of Police (SP) Prabhat Kumar.

SP Prabhat Kumar stated that the incident occurred on Friday morning when a BSF road-opening party embarked on a search operation from their camp in Garpa village.

While patrolling near the village outskirts, the Maoists triggered the IED, injuring two jawans.

The injured personnel were promptly evacuated to the camp and are being transported to a hospital for medical treatment. Authorities have not yet disclosed the severity of the injuries.
