A new web series titled "Lawrence: A Gangster Story" is set to be produced, shedding light on the life of notorious gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. This announcement comes amid reports of Bishnoi issuing fresh threats against Bollywood actor Salman Khan. Recently, Bishnoi has made headlines for his alleged involvement in the murder of politician Baba Siddique and for threatening Salman Khan.

According to media reports, the Jani Firefox Film Production house will be releasing the series, which has already received approval for its title from the Indian Motion Pictures Association. The show will reportedly examine Bishnoi's transformation into a feared gangster, exploring the complexities of his criminal life.

Although Bishnoi has been incarcerated since 2014, he is notorious for maintaining a vast criminal network both within India and internationally. Amit Jani, the head of the production house, stated that the series aims to engage viewers with a compelling narrative based on real events. Jani has a history of producing projects inspired by true incidents, such as "A Tailor Murder Story" and "Karachi to Noida," setting high expectations for authenticity in this new production.

In the wake of the recent threats against Salman Khan, security has been intensified at the actor's residence. The Mumbai Police reported receiving a menacing message via WhatsApp to the Mumbai Traffic Police, demanding an extortion payment of ₹5 crore. The message warned that if Khan wished to end his ongoing rivalry with Bishnoi, he must comply with the demand, or face dire consequences, worse than those experienced by Baba Siddique.

These threats have surfaced just days after the assassination of Siddique on October 12 in Mumbai, with four individuals already arrested in connection with the crime. As the world of Indian cinema intertwines with the criminal underworld, the upcoming web series promises to delve into the untold story of Lawrence Bishnoi.
