Chhattisgarh CM Vishnu Deo Sai to Launch 'Mukhyamantri Annkosh Yojana', Development Projects Worth Crores
Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai of Chhattisgarh inaugurated development projects worth over ₹1,044 crore on December 9, during a series of events in Ambikapur and Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur (MCB) districts. The CM also launched the 'Mukhyamantri Annkosh Yojana', a pilot project aimed at improving the nutritional health of pregnant and lactating women from the Pahadi Korwa tribal community.

Launch of 'Mukhyamantri Annkosh Yojana' in Ambikapur The scheme focuses on providing additional nutritional support to pregnant and lactating women from the Pahadi Korwa tribal community to reduce maternal and infant mortality rates. The program was launched at an event held at the PG College Ground in Ambikapur.
₹495 Crore Projects for Surguja District
CM Sai inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for projects totaling ₹495.23 crore.
Key projects include:
Inauguration of 145 development and construction works worth ₹154.47 crore.
Foundation stone laid for 1,047 works costing ₹340.76 crore.
Construction of 10 roads worth ₹132.83 crore.
Water supply schemes for five villages under the Jal Jeevan Mission at ₹3.59 crore.
Construction of a multi-purpose hall for ₹3.52 crore in Ambikapur.
Sewerage treatment plants with 46 MLD capacity costing ₹123.28 crore.
Rural roads under the PM Rural Road Scheme costing ₹55.45 crore.
₹549 Crore Projects for Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur (MCB)
Projects worth ₹549.26 crore were inaugurated in MCB district. CM Sai inaugurated a 100-bed district hospital in Chirmiri, equipped with specialized doctors and paramedical staff.
Focus on Sustainable Development
In Surguja, the CM emphasized the construction of stop dams, anicuts, and canal renovations in 16 gram panchayats for ₹55.05 crore. Additional investments of ₹28.40 crore will go toward building 243 Anganwadi centers. Urban infrastructure projects, including CC roads and drainage systems, will also be developed for ₹5.92 crore.
