The JMM list includes key figures such as MT Raja from Rajmahal, Dhananjay Soren from Boriyo, Basant Soren from Dumka, and others like Baidhnath Ram (Latehar) and Hafizul Hasan (Madhupur). Several current ministers, including Dipak Birua (Chaibasa-ST) and Ramdas Soren (Ghatsila-ST), will also contest from their existing constituencies.

Meanwhile, Minister Mithilesh Kumar Thakur and three other leaders filed their nominations as JMM candidates ahead of the official announcement. The coalition between JMM and Congress is aiming to contest 70 of the 81 seats.

The nomination process for the first phase has started, and candidates have until October 25 to file nominations, with withdrawals allowed until October 30. Additionally, the Congress and RJD have announced their own candidates for various constituencies across the state.

The Jharkhand Assembly elections will see fierce competition between the ruling JMM-Congress alliance and other contenders, with 81 seats up for grabs across the state.
