Sagar, Madhya Pradesh: In a surprising turn of events, an Income Tax Department raid in Sagar district of Madhya Pradesh uncovered four crocodiles in a residential property.

The discovery left the officials stunned, prompting immediate action. The Forest Department was alerted, and the crocodiles were successfully rescued. A case has been registered under the Wildlife Protection Act in connection with the incident.

During the raid on a house associated with former BJP councilor and businessman Rajesh Kesarwani, the Income Tax team discovered the presence of crocodiles.

The Forest Department, led by officials under the guidance of Madhya Pradesh Forest Chief Aseem Srivastava, acted swiftly to rescue the reptiles.

Srivastava confirmed the operation and stated that the health of the rescued crocodiles is being assessed. The Forest Department plans to inform the court about the incident and proceed accordingly.

In a separate but related incident, a video of pet dogs entering the core area of Panna Tiger Reserve has gone viral. Field Director Anjana Suchita Tirkey has launched an investigation, assigning the case to AD Mandla.
