Meaning "prayer," the name symbolizes that she is the couple’s cherished blessing. Deepika shared a photo on Instagram, revealing the baby's little legs in a red outfit, and expressed their immense gratitude.

Dua was born on September 8, 2024, as shared by the couple in a joint announcement on social media. Since then, friends and fans, including stars like Alia Bhatt, Ananya Panday, and Arjun Kapoor, have poured in heartfelt congratulations.

Ranveer had previously shared his hope to have a daughter, often mentioning his joy over Deepika’s baby photos. In a recent media appearance, he humorously remarked that he was handling nighttime duties with Dua so Deepika could rest. The duo, known as "DeepVeer," tied the knot in a private ceremony at Lake Como, Italy, in 2018.

With Deepika currently on maternity leave, she is expected to return to filming next year for projects like Kalki 2898 AD alongside Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, and Prabhas.
