Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife Sara visited the Western Wall, to mark the swearing in of the 37th government.
The visit took place in the presence of Rabbi Shmuel Rabinovitch and the CEO of the Western Wall Heritage Fund Mordechai (Soli) Eliav.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu: “I just wrote in the book: “The keeper of Israel will neither sleep nor sleep”. I will summarize the two ongoing actions that I burdened myself with both today and yesterday. We will continue to do it for the sake of the citizens of Israel, for the sake of the State of Israel and also the Land of Israel.
Prime Minister Netanyahu: “I must say that I am excited this time too, to accept the position and lead the State of Israel. I come here, to mine our quarry, to touch the stones of the Kotel, and to remember that we have the duty to preserve the legacy of the generations and to secure our future for future generations as well, and that’s how we will do it.”
