Luxury bus carrying passengers catches fire, on major expressway

On the Mumbai Pune Expressway, a private bus carrying 36 passengers had a narrow escape when it caught fire. All the passengers were evacuated safely and no casualties were reported.The incident took place near Vadgaon. 

As per information, at around 7.00 am on Pune lane of the Mumbai-Pune Expressway,  caught fire due to tyre burst and a short circuit. While the passengers in the bus were all rescued, the fire was doused with the joint efforts of IRB patrolling, Devdoot Yantrana, Delta Force, Vadgaon traffic police system.
