Women TV anchors can provoke men, controversial preacher Zakir Naik faces backlash for unsettling views
Controversial preacher Zakir Naik's recent interview has sparked outrage on social media, with many users criticizing his regressive mindset. One user even remarked that if Naik had not been removed from India, the situation would have been dire. Known for his inflammatory remarks, the Islamic scholar made comments about women during his visit to Pakistan that have angered the local population, particularly women.
Pakistani women have expressed their fury towards Naik, calling for divine intervention for him and those who invited him to Pakistan as a guest. They have described Naik as a disturbed individual, implying that he needs help due to his unsettling views.
In his interview, Naik controversially stated that female TV anchors can provoke men, claiming that if a man does not have impure thoughts upon seeing a woman, he is "medically unfit." He asserted that if a man can watch a female anchor for half an hour without any reaction, there is something wrong with him. According to Naik, if a man looks at a girl for 20 minutes without feeling anything, he should seek medical advice. He jokingly suggested that it may be a case of becoming so accustomed to arousal that one might not feel it as intensely.
