Woman stabs another 50 times, both were wives of same man
In Madhya Pradesh’s Rewa district, a woman named Mansi was arrested for stabbing her husband’s first wife, Jaya, more than 50 times following a heated argument on Diwali, October 31.
The attack left Jaya critically injured, and she is currently undergoing treatment in a hospital in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh.
Mansi, 22, and Jaya, 26, are both married to Rambabu Verma. According to police, Mansi and Jaya’s argument escalated into a violent assault, with a video showing Mansi repeatedly stabbing Jaya and then kicking her while she lay wounded in a pool of blood.
The police report that Rambabu initially married Jaya in 2019, but due to her poor health, he married Mansi in 2021.
Senior police officer Udit Mishra confirmed Mansi’s arrest and stated that a case has been filed. The investigation is ongoing as authorities await a statement from Jaya.
