Woman 'abducted' on bike. video goes viral, turns out it was her brothers

A shocking incident occurred in Mirzapur district, Uttar Pradesh, where a brother, upset with his sister's love marriage, forcefully took her home on a bike in a dramatic style. The sister screamed for help during the ordeal. A passerby recorded a video, believing the woman was being kidnapped. Upon receiving the kidnapping report, the police sprang into action.

According to available information, the incident took place in the Padari police station area. Neha, a 24-year-old woman from the area, had a love relationship with Abhishek, her cousin's brother-in-law, who resides in the Kachhawa police station area. Recently, Neha and Abhishek had a love marriage. The previous day, Abhishek, along with his parents and Neha, had gone to the police station seeking protection, claiming Neha's family was threatening them.

As Abhishek was leaving the police station in an auto-rickshaw, Neha's cousins attacked him. They allegedly vandalized the auto and injured Abhishek. They then forcibly took Neha on a bike while she screamed and cried. Passersby watched the incident unfold.

The police have taken notice of the viral video. Circle Officer Manjari Rao stated that the investigation revealed the 24-year-old woman from Padari had a love affair with her cousin's brother-in-law from Kachhawa. The two had married, causing displeasure among Neha's family. Her cousins were taking her back home to Padari, which she resisted, as seen in the video. There was no evidence of kidnapping. Complaints of assault and dispute between the families were registered at the Kachhawa police station, and legal action is being taken accordingly. The situation is currently calm, and the injured Abhishek has filed a complaint. The police have registered a case and begun an investigation.
