Amid the news reports that Israel has begun ground invasion into Gaza strip, India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi has dialed Egyptian President Abdelfattah Elsisi on the West Asia crisis.
“…Exchanged views on the deteriorating security and humanitarian situation in West Asia. We share concerns regarding terrorism, violence and loss of civilian lives. We agree on the need for early restoration of peace and stability and facilitating humanitarian assistance”, PM Modi wrote on X platform.
This comes after Indian leader spoke to Palestinian President Mahmud Abbas and then sent in humanitarian aid for Gazans through Egyptian Rafah border.
Israel backed by Western nations has vowed to annihilate terror outfit Hamas and as per multiple media reports, establish a secular administration with the help of friendly Arab countries.
