The Congress Working Committee resolution on Palestine has come under a lot of scrutiny on the national and international level. BJP Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma also has reacted to the resolution saying it resembles that of Pakistan.
But the Nagaland Deputy Chief Yanthungo Patton has made startling claims about why Congress is not winning in this north eastern state.
Nagaland Deputy CM Patton said, “Congress has taken a stance of supporting Palestine, which shows that they are supporting Hamas, a terrorist organization that has killed thousands of innocent women and children in Israel…This is why in Nagaland, we have stopped voting for Congress. And this is why not a single Congress candidate who contested elections in the last 15 years could get elected…”.
