The Eastern Economic Forum will take place in Vladivostok, Russia, from September 3 for four days, organized by the Roscongress Foundation. Established in 2007, the Roscongress Foundation is a major organizer of diverse events, including congresses, exhibitions, business forums, and cultural activities. Founded by President Vladimir Putin in 2015, the foundation aims to support economic development in Russia's Far East and foster international cooperation in the Asia-Pacific region.

The forum will see participation from an official Indian delegation, including government representatives. A key feature of the event will be a Russia-India business dialogue, involving entrepreneurs from both nations.

The Eastern Economic Forum serves as a crucial international platform for building and reinforcing relationships within the global investment community. It provides an in-depth assessment of the economic potential, investment opportunities, and business conditions in Russia’s Far East, particularly in advanced special economic zones.

In 2023, the forum attracted over 7,000 participants and media from 62 countries, including around 2,400 business leaders. Major delegations came from China, India, Myanmar, the Philippines, Laos, and Mongolia. The event featured more than 100 sessions covering key international and regional issues, with over 700 speakers and moderators contributing to the discussions.
