As the Uttarkashi tunnel rescue progresses, heres latest visuals from the spot. The relief and rescue work has now halted at Silkyara Tunnel.
Speaking to ANI, Anshu Manish Khulko, who is Director of the tunnel-making company NHIDCL, said that at present the drilling work in the tunnel has stopped. When asked whether drilling work had stopped due to a machine breakdown, he said that there is no fault in the machine.
In the Uttarkashi tunnel collapse site, the efforts are underway on the sixth day to rescue the 40 trapped workers.
