U.S. Embassy response raises more questions, says Parliamentarian Nishikant Dubey

BJP Member of Parliament (MP) Nishikant Dubey has raised serious concerns over the influence of foreign entities on Indian politics and economy. Referring to a statement made by U.S. Embassy officials, Dubey claimed that they acknowledged financial support to the Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP) by the U.S. government, and also confirmed that George Soros’ foundation provides funds to the organization.

In a scathing critique, Dubey accused OCCRP and Soros of working to destabilize India’s economy and tarnish the image of the Modi government. He also suggested that these entities are allegedly collaborating with opposition leaders in India to further their agenda.

"After reading the statement from the U.S. Embassy officials repeatedly, it is clear that OCCRP, backed by Soros' foundation, is working against India's economic interests. Their aim is to destabilize the Indian economy, malign the Modi government, and join forces with opposition leaders," Dubey remarked.

The MP further stated that this revelation had compelled him to raise 10 questions in the upcoming session of the Lok Sabha, which he intends to direct at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. "I will have no choice but to ask Rahul Gandhi ji these questions in Parliament. My voice is being suppressed by the opposition, but according to the rules of the Lok Sabha, particularly Rule 357, I have every right to ask these questions," Dubey added, asserting his commitment to raise the issue in Parliament.

Dubey’s statement comes at a time when political tensions are running high, with the opposition accusing the government of curbing dissent and stifling parliamentary proceedings. His remarks also reflect the growing concerns over foreign influence in India's internal matters, which have become a topic of heated debate in recent times.

As the Lok Sabha session approaches, all eyes will be on how the government and opposition respond to the unfolding controversy.
