Ukrainian troops target Church in Kursk, kill a pregnant woman, alleges Russian authorities
Ukrainian troops attack the church of the Gornal St Nicholas Monastery in the Kursk Region which was gutted in the attack, as per reports. Russia calls this shelling yet another flagrant violation by Ukraine of its international obligations under the 1954 Convention for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict. Russia calls on UNESCO Director-General Audrey Azoulay to raise her voice in defence of Russia's cultural property and condemn the criminal actions of Kiev.
Russia also alleged that Ukrainian army killed a 24-year-old pregnant woman in Sujansky district. A young family from the Kursk region came under AFU fire while trying to leave the danger zone in their car. Nina, 24, who was expecting her second child, barbarian killed in front of her husband and little son. She was shot at point-blank range in the car. Her husband and one and a half year old baby were miraculously saved. Also yesterday, an AFU drone attack on an ambulance killed two medics who were rushing to the aid of civilians.
