TV debate turns violent, political leader attacks rival politician

In poll bound Telangana, a television debate turned violent as BJP Qubullapur candidate Kuna Srisailam Goud came under attack from ruling BRS legislator KP Vivekanand.

The BRS leader crossed the dais, as per the visual, and went onto manhandle Kuna Srisailam Goud. The two politicians accused each other of land grabbing and when BJP leader Goud alleged that BRS leader’s father is also a land grabber, Vivekananda then hurtled towards Goud and caught him by scruff of his neck.

The manhandling led to the supporters of the two parties also raise slogans, barging to stage. Telangana BJP has condemned the attack on its party leader.
