The Supreme Court is considering Arvind Kejriwal's bail petitions related to his CBI arrest over the revoked liquor policy. Kejriwal remains jailed despite earlier interim bail granted in a separate case

The Supreme Court is currently reviewing Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's petitions seeking bail and challenging his arrest related to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) case involving the now-revoked liquor policy in the capital. The case is being heard by a bench consisting of Justice Surya Kant and Justice Ujjal Bhuyan, as per the court's schedule.

Previously, the Supreme Court granted interim bail to Kejriwal in a separate Enforcement Directorate (ED) case, but he remains incarcerated in the CBI matter. If the Supreme Court rules in his favor, Kejriwal could be released from prison after more than five months.

Kejriwal was arrested by the CBI on June 26. On August 5, the Delhi High Court upheld his arrest, affirming that the CBI had demonstrated his potential to influence witnesses.
