In the Nandini police station area of Bhilai, a tragic incident occurred on the day of Ganesh Chaturthi when a dispute between two groups escalated into violence. Three brothers were brutally killed, and one person was critically injured. The cause of the conflict is reported to be a minor argument that began while dancing to DJ music during the procession of Lord Ganesha's idol. What started as a small disagreement turned into a deadly confrontation a day later.
The dispute initially began two days earlier when a DJ was playing music during the arrival of Lord Ganesha's idol. People were dancing in celebration, but an argument broke out between two groups over the dance. The situation quickly escalated, leading to a physical altercation. However, the conflict was temporarily resolved with efforts from both sides.
Unfortunately, on Saturday night, during the installation of the Ganesh idol in the pandal, the dispute reignited. This time, the confrontation intensified, and a large group attacked the three brothers with sticks, rods, and weapons, resulting in their deaths. Another individual was severely injured and immediately rushed to the hospital.
