Speaking in Delhi, Kerala Governor Arif Mohammed Khan has expressed concerns on the issue of regular Vice-Chancellor in Kerala universities.

Governor told media, " In the next month, in Kerala, in all the universities, there won't be a single regular Vice-Chancellor and that worries me more. Because of politics, we are playing with the future of the coming generation, to me that is more serious...I have sought a report, the number of positions, in teaching faculties lying vacant is simply staggering...they (Kerala govt) are not interested in that, they only want to obstruct the regular appointment of Vice-Chancellor...".
