Police in Etawah of Uttar Pradesh have arrested a teacher for molesting a eleventh grade girl student as the act got caught on cam.
As the footage went viral, it is learnt that the girl’s father got it too and handed it over to the Friend’s Colony police station after which the teacher was arrested.
Speaking to the media, Kail Dev, the SP City, confirmed that the police did go through the video and that it was made available by the victim girl’s father.
He added that teacher has been booked under strict provisions of the law and legal proceedings have been initiated in view of the gravity of the crime.
It need be mentioned that girl students need to feel safe at home or educational premises so that they can continue with their studies and extra curricular activities.
