Smoke bombs in Parliament, overturned chairs in middle of hall, yet debates continuing, watch

Viral visuals show smoke bombs placed in Albanian Parliament as the Members of the opposition continued to block the work of the parliament by overturning almost all the chairs in the hall and placing them in the middle of the hall.

It emerged that when the representatives of the ruling parties entered the hall, they had nowhere to sit, so they first stood, and then took chairs from the parliamentary chambers.

As the session commenced the opposition lit two smoke bombs. But the session continued as the deputies debated amid complete smoke in a hall where nothing could be seen.

The opposition is demanding immediate resignation of socialist Prime Minister Edi Rama, over the contraversial agreement with the far-right Italian Prime Minister Meloni, to build a Cuba style Guantanamo Bay in Shën Gjin coast town of Albania.
