Six deliveries within 15 hours, heres why Devbhog govt hospital made news
Under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, and with the dedicated oversight of Health Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, significant improvements are being observed in the state healthcare sector. People are now able to access all health check-up and treatment facilities at nearby government hospitals without traveling far. The state is continuously enhancing its healthcare services, yielding positive results.
In this context, the Community Health Center in Devbhog successfully conducted deliveries for six women. Thanks to the diligent efforts of the medical team, six healthy babies were welcomed into the world. Essential health checks and initial vaccinations have been provided for all newborns.
Specifically, the Devbhog Community Health Center performed six safe deliveries within a remarkable 15-hour window from September 21 at 1:30 PM to September 22 at 3 PM, with four of these deliveries occurring within the first hour and a half. This achievement is a significant milestone for the district, and the doctors at the health center expressed their happiness and supported one another.
Under the guidance of Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. Gargi Yadu Pal, the medical team implemented a special strategy that played a crucial role in the successful deliveries. District Collector Shri Deepak Agrawal congratulated the doctors and medical staff for their efforts and encouraged them to continue providing exceptional health services in the district, praising their commitment and diligence in fulfilling their responsibilities.
Notably, health services are being actively provided not only in urban areas but also in remote forest regions. Essential health facilities have been developed at primary and community health centers in villages, along with necessary medical examinations and free medications. This initiative allows residents to benefit from healthcare services, and doctors and medical teams are working diligently to ensure that people visit government hospitals with hope and confidence. As a result, individuals can easily access basic healthcare services close to their villages. Additionally, regular health camps are held to provide necessary health check-ups and treatments in forest villages.
Prenatal health checks for pregnant women and timely vaccinations are also being carried out actively, along with the provision of essential supplementary nutrition for nursing mothers. This has led to increased awareness about institutional deliveries and success in achieving health targets. Pregnant Women's Days are celebrated on the 9th and 24th of each month, where comprehensive examinations are conducted and mothers are encouraged to opt for institutional deliveries.
