BJP is on an attack mode after a video went viral where Karnataka social welfare minister HC Mahadevappa was caught on camera making his security personnel put on shoes for him. Many BJP leaders have shared the video from their X account and slammed the VVIP culture in the grand old party.
It is learnt that at the time, the Minister was visiting the Government Gourishankar hostel in Dharwad’s Saptapur area.
The Minister, in his bid to inspect the food quality that is served to the hostel occupants, left his shoe behind and entered the kitchen area.
As he came back out of the kitchen, as per sources, the gunman accompanying the Minister helped the Minister put his shoes back on. The Minister, in the video, is seen talking and deliberating with the officials as the security personnel was helping him put shoe on.
BJP national level spokesperson Shehzad Jai Hind posted on X, “….This VVIP mindset is common in Congress. They consider Janta as naukar & themselves as Maalik not Sevak…”.
