A woman wanting to make mango shake for her five-year-old son was genuinely shocked to find a centipede in a tub of Amul Vanilla Magic ice cream ordered from Blinkit.
The ice cream was meant to be part of the mango shake for the kid. The incident is said to be of Sector 12 in Uttar Pradesh’s Noida.
It did not take long for the mother to find the centipede in the ice cream as it was visible as soon the lid of the tub was lifted.
The sight of the many-legged intruder sent chills down her spine and soon enough the visuals went viral online.
This is second such scary case after a man in Mumbai actually found a human finger in the ice cream cone and that too was ordered online.
The woman promptly filed a complaint with Blinkit, and the e-commerce platform refunded the Rs 195 cost of the ice cream. Blinkit has also assured her that they have escalated the matter to Amul for further investigation.
“We ordered Poha, biscuits and other things,” said a woman from Noida after discovering centipede inside ice cream tub she ordered online on Saturday.
