“…People in east look like Chinese, in the South look like Africans…”, yet another controversial opinion now goes public from Sam Pitroda, considered close to Gandhis in Congress.
Speaking to a media institution, Sam Pitroda, who is Chairman of Indian Overseas Congress, spoke about India’s democratic values and diversity.
But then to prove his point, he went on to highlight India’s 75 years of peaceful coexistence, despite occasional conflicts, and emphasized the country’s ability to unite people from diverse backgrounds. Pitroda noted the physical diversity across regions, mentioning that people in the East resemble Chinese, while those in the South resemble Africans. People in North look like Whites and those from West resemble Arabs, he added.
BJP leader Shehzad Poonawalla says, “This is a shocking, despicable and disgusting comment made by Sam Pitroda. He is the mentor of Rahul Gandhi. It is the word, spirit, vocabulary and ideology of Rahul Gandhi… First, they divided on the basis of caste, religion and language. Now, they are dividing Indian vs. Indian. And to make a comment like Indians are like Chinese, isn’t it a racist comment?… Isn’t it an insulting and objectionable comment? It shows that ‘Congress ki Mohabbat ki Dukan actually has Nafrat and Racism ka Saman’…”
I am speechless ! Let me be blunt: everytime Sam Pitroda ji speaks- he damages the Congress!
The South of India which Congress hopes to sweep their peoples look like AFRICA & peoples East of India look like CHINESE & people in the West for eg Gujarat or Mumbai or Pune look… pic.twitter.com/W83AJkMh2M

Hi @sampitroda I’m half East Indian & half South Indian – I don’t look “Chinese” or “African”. And hate to break it to you but you don’t look very “Arab” either – the closest you get to “Arab” is probably looking like a South Indian waiter at Dubai/Doha Airport. pic.twitter.com/RKBfp2vGMv

Sam Pitroda’s insensitive remarks not only disgrace the Congress party but also bring to light the elitist mindset deeply entrenched within the Gandhi family’s circle.
For generations, they’ve wielded power with a sense of entitlement, treating the Indian people as subjects… pic.twitter.com/Ccv65pYfaV
