**Salman Khan Receives Another Death Threat with ₹2 Crore Ransom Demand; Security Tightened by Mumbai Police**
Actor Salman Khan has once again been targeted with a death threat, this time with a ransom demand of ₹2 crore. An anonymous message sent to Mumbai traffic control on October 30 threatened to kill Khan if he failed to pay the ransom. The Mumbai Police have registered a case against the unknown sender and launched an investigation under sections related to extortion and death threats. Security around Khan has been intensified as a result.
Recently, a 20-year-old man from Noida was arrested in connection with similar threats made against Salman Khan and Zeeshan Siddiqui, son of the late NCP leader Baba Siddique, who was shot dead on October 12. This individual, Gufran Khan, was taken to Mumbai on a transit remand for further investigation.
Earlier this year, Mumbai Police also detained Shaikh Hussain Shaikh Mausin, a vegetable seller from Jamshedpur, for sending a ₹5 crore ransom demand via the Mumbai Police’s WhatsApp helpline.
These threats add to the ongoing security concerns surrounding Khan, who has received multiple threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang in relation to his involvement in the blackbuck hunting case. Following the threats, security at Khan’s residence and around his public appearances has been heightened by the police.
